RobocupJunior Dance International Champions 2006! We are a team of 13-14 year old girls from Amberfield School in Suffolk, and are competing in the RobocupJunior Competition 2006. We are participating in the Robotic Dance contest, which involves designing, building and programming any number of robots to dance to a piece of music. Our team, "The Flight of the Phantom Phoenixes", have designed and built 10 robots – a family of phoenixes; and programmed them to dance to a song composed for us by David Jennings (www.djmedia.co.uk) We have choreographed our own dance routine, as we chose to dance alongside our robots. We wrote this website as part of the design project for the competition, in order to inform others of our work and the Robocup Challenge.
