Our performance is intended to be very entertaining because there are numerous things going on, and wherever you decide to look, there will always be an example of interesting and imaginative choreography.

We have five different types of robots doing completely dissimilar things, and a human dance routine at the back.

We have lots of beautiful scenery, including a golden egg that lights up, and a nest.

The striking costumes of the robots and the humans also successfully help to make our performance entertaining.
Costume

One of our team members made an animated backdrop,
which was intended to be projected behind us and
our robots during our performance.

(However, we resolved not to use it for our performance
after all, in order not to distract from the rest of our dance.)

Our flying phoenix can be suspended in front of the projection,
and so appears to be moving.

The animation runs as a gif image in a PowerPoint presentation.

  • The animation consists of 123 different frames.
  • Delay of 1 second; so the animation changes in time to the beat of our music.
  • Flying phoenix’s wings also flap in time to the music.

The animation is not very complex, so that it doesn’t
detract from the constant activity of our robots’ and
    our own dance routine.
