We won the UK National Championship, which was held at Cranfield University in March 2006, having previously gained the Regional title of the Robocup competition at the Tournament at Bletchley Park.

This meant that we were invited to represent the UK in the International Tournament,
which will be held in Bremen, Germany this Summer.

We leave for Bremen on the 10th June, 2006.

Our Preparations for the International Final

We have altered many aspects of our performance and robots for the International Finals.

  • We have constructed and programmed
2 more robotic phoenixes - the 'flylings'.

We now have a total of 11 robots!

  • Flyling Phoenix
  • We re-choreographed our dance
    - Our Dance Routines for The UK National Finals & for Bremen

  • We re-designed our costume
    - Our Costume for The UK National Finals & for Bremen

  • We have made more scenery to increase the Entertainment value of our performance:
    - We now have card cutout flames consisting of coloured paper & glitter decoration, which conceal the stands that the flyling phoenixes are mounted on, so that the phoenixes appear to fly above fire.
    - We re-made the egg, using amber LEDs instead of Lego Lights.
    - We have feathers, leaf skeletons sprayed gold, & gold flowers to adorn the nests
